RJC COVID-19 UPDATE: March 18, 1:00pm

Mar 18, 2020 | RJC News

In an effort to ensure the safest and most secure living conditions possible for all of our students and staff, and to best prepare for the uncertain times ahead, RJC has temporarily closed its dormitories effective 1:00 PM on Wednesday, March 18, 2020. We will answer all questions in due course, but our immediate focus remains the safety and security of our students and staff. Our students can rest assured that all of their belongings in the dormitories are secure and protected, and questions about access to their personal rooms will be addressed in the near future. We will review the decision to fully reopen the dormitories no later than Thursday, April 9.

At present, all students previously living in our dormitory who could return home have done so, or are in transit. Alternative housing arrangements have been made for those students for whom returning home was not possible. Every effort has been made to provide safe, secure, and stable living situations for all of our students, and we are deeply grateful and appreciative to those in our community and constituency who have helped in this regard.

Thank you for your prayerful support as we continue to address the challenges to our school community resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic.

 Sincerely,

 Ryan Wood, Principal
