RJC COVID-19 Update: March 26

Mar 26, 2020 | RJC News

In response to the growing public safety challenges resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, and under the advisement of the local public health authorities, RJC has closed its dormitories for the remainder of the 2019/20 school year. All of our current dormitory students will receive a full, three-month refund of dormitory fees, which will be applied to their account.

In the event that RJC is permitted to re-open for classes before June 30, we will not re-open the dormitories. Rather, we anticipate offering expanded shuttle services and, potentially, homestay options for our former dormitory students. Currently, all students’ belongings are safe and secure and we ask people to remain off campus at this time. Arrangements will be made at a future date for students to gather their belongings from the dormitory. For students who are unable to return before June 30, their items will be packed and kept in storage until further direction is received.

We regret the disruption this has caused our students and school community, and we continue to pray for our students and staff during these challenging times.

Sincerely,

Ryan Wood, Principal
