RJC COVID-19 Update: January 7, 2022

Jan 7, 2022 | RJC News

Greetings,

The Saskatchewan government has recently updated the COVID-19 guidelines for schools, and parents are now asked to report to the school if their child tests positive for COVID-19 with a rapid test at home or has a positive PCR result at a SHA facility.

While supplies last, rapid tests are available at the RJC office for any students or staff who would like some.

If a student tests positive for COVID-19 a ‘Risk of Exposure’ email will be sent to all parents alerting them of the exposure at school. Due to the integrated nature of RJC all students are considered close contacts of one another even if they are in separate grades. The ‘Risk of Exposure’ message will not provide any details about the student or staff member who has tested positive.

More information, including a flow chart about how to respond after testing positive or after being deemed a close contact to a positive case, can be found on the Government website at the following link:

Thank you for your continued support as we seek to keep our schools safe while we continue with in-person learning and our school program.
